Create GroupIn Address book click with "Groups" pulldown selected and in "private" click "add new group"

Define the new groupOnce in the New Group screen several things are effected:
1. Clcik on each address of the "private" contacts list one by one and watch them appear in the group list at right. (it's important to make sure the private contact list is empty before importing contacts)
2. Type in a suitable Group Name. (This is what the group will be know as and what is typed in in place of individual addresses in the "To" line when wishig to communicate with the group)
3. Set sharing access. (Public or private) |
Select Public SharingBe sure to select "public" radio box.
Do not go into "settings" at this time.
Notice how the left pane is empty while the right pane is filled. (It is a separate step to delete contacts once imported into a group)
Group name has been entered into the upper right hand field.
Once all filled out click the blue "save" button. |
