Content ControlIG can be thought of as a scalable staging platform suitable for many different kinds of websites. From small do it yourself "brochure sites" to large complex publication sites. From novice to expert, IG offers variable entry points to it's simple to use editing and permissions management system.
What an be done from where?
Inside the Web Interface: (editor) Change content. Move pages within the site. Change style template. Change design framework. Create and delete pages. Effect link display priority. Internet Explorer users have access to a special template that works like MS Word.
Inside the Web Interface: (administrator) Send email transmission to group or groups. Access to users, groups and maillist system sections. Set security permissions.
* IT Admin: Upload new frame directories. (custom appearance) Update or addition of new users and groups. Perform Zip backup. (inspectable outside environment with updating backups is required.) Direct control of htm design pages, xsl stylesheets, system folders and CSS stylesheet.
Outside from the Internet: Login panel from any browser with change password and forgot password options. **Create a new or modify an existing record they have username and password for. Login to the site and be able to view public or login to view privileged information. Send email through contact forms that retain record and add to maillist. Receive email through website as a member of a group.
* Many of these tasks can be done by an admin who is off-site. The server will have remote administrative login that will allow local user access. ** A secured page can be offered in September and new people can put in their own information. Let them do it and IT staff edit entries and or re-issue passwords.
