Site Redirect TalkDNS Poisoning happens at the ISP or provider of your DNS lookup. Here are two public DNS lookup servers that seem to be OK. (OpenDNS) and are available for public/business use.
208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220
Put them per the instructions at http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/how-to-find-out-what-my-dns-servers-address-is/ and restart your computer.
On the virus side some viruses are hard to detect with anti-virus software. RKILL http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/ is what I recommend to try to check for running processes. It also looks at the computer's hosts file to see if somehow a bad entry got stuck there. (hosts is the local computer's way of permanently storing exceptions to dns)
Cookies Does the problem track across different browsers. I would try Firefox and Chrome, Another place something funky can be inserted and left in a semi-permanent way is the browser's cookies, It is also a good idea to find the cookie for the domain name in question (Tools,Options,Privacy, remove individual cookies) and remove it and try to load the site again.
Hacker Code insertion Happens at the website host. Hackers can insert some redirection code in a site that in specific cases sends the visitor to the wrong site. Hacker insertion usually has something to do with visits coming off of Search Engine Results.
