Mail Server List ManagementIn this example listmajor@guitarworkshop.com is the formal "address" and is the "From" line of each message sent while the sender's email address will take up the "reply to" field. (we don't want replies automatically re-addressing the list address itself)
Notes: Use the admin web interface for editing the members list and making any adjustments to the mail list itself.
Use your email program to create and send your message to your listserver alias.
Use an identically setup test list to send to an internal group to verify message appearance before sending to the main list.
Use "Max # of messages in 1 minute" under "Other" tab to limit transmission rate to 60 per minute or less.
Use a standard opt-out footer that utilizes variables that identify the addressee in the body of each message.

Log into the Ice Warp administrative area. |
Double click the list you wish to edit. |
Click "Members" and Paste in your list, incrementally or complete.
Note: The mailserver will remove "dead" addresses so sometimes it's better to add to the existing list.
Click the "OK" button to upload the additions.
The mailserver also has process list variables that can be added into your list to personalize each message. |
